Yes, it’s daylight savings time this Sunday when we Spring forward. To celebrate, here’s a (bootleg) clip of artist Christian Marclay’s The Clock. Have you heard of this film? Probably. You won’t see it on Netflix or your local cineplex. Marclay and a team of editor’s spent YEARS combing through thousands of films to put together a 24-hour movie that goes through every minnute of the day, visually. When this debuted in New York a few years ago, there were lines around the block… and you could stay as long as you want so you had to wait for someone to leave. Here are three minutes starting at 12:05, I believe, with some nice Richard Gere moments from American Gigolo. Anyway, don’t forget to set your clocks forward – what am I saying?
