STORMTROOPERS ARE EVERWHERE IN JORGE PEREZ HIGUERA'S PHOTOS

December 19, 2015

Star Wars really is EVERYWHERE lately. I like SOME fan art but some of it really transcends the fan part and is really Art with a capitol "A". Case in point, Jorge Perez Higuera, photo series The Other Side. Higuera is a photographer that has spent a fair amount of time staging everyday scenes with masses of Stormtroopers. His take on the series;

“The Other Side represents the routine of diverse individuals in order to manifest the importance of daily routine by decontextualizing a fictional character and showing its adaptation to our world.”

That’s how you know it “Art”, and not just funny pictures, kids. Seriously, I love these. For more of Higuera’s work go here.
