THIS AMAZING ARTIST'S STUDIO ONCE BELONGED TO DAME MARGOT FONTEYN

September 13, 2015

This artist’s studio was built in the 1890s and once belonged to the England’s prima ballerina, Dame Margot Fonteyn. It’s in a need of complete restoration (hopefully retaining all it’s amazing detail) It is three levels with four large double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large artist studio/reception with two-storey windows plus an office area and south-facing garden. The complex, calledSt Pauls Studios, was designed by Frederick Wheeler in 1891 and is near Kensington High Street. I’m so in love with this space. I only wish I had the means for this to be my London pied-à-terre. It’s offered at just over $2 million U.S..
