Multi-billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg just snagged two side-by-side mansions on Lake Tahoe.
But if you think about it, the price tag of nearly $60 million is really just a drop in the ocean if you’re worth $70 billion. (Btw, the average net worth of Americans is around $70,000.)
The pair of properties is 10 lakefront acres, has a total of 15 bedrooms, and include numerous piers to house multiple boats and dueling hot tubs to chill in.
The smaller manse, the Carousel Estate, is a Tudor-style home, was built in the early 30s while the other house, the Brushwood Estate (built in the 60s) has more two adjoining guest houses. (The price for this property alone was $39 million.)
Will Mark and company be bringing work home for executive retreats here? If so it’s a big tax deduction, which he might not need, on second thought.
