After last year’s sale of the Boerum Hill townhouse she owned with Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams has found a new Brooklyn home. She just purchased a veritable mansion—located in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park South neighborhood —for $2.45 million, which honestly seems like some kind of bargain these days. The 114-year-old estate has eight bedrooms and six bathrooms —eight fireplaces, lots of original detail and even a rooftop deck. It was designed by architects Robert Bryson and Carroll Pratt, in the Colonial Revival style. There are leaded and stained glass windows throughout the house and the first floor has a double parlor, formal dining room, sunroom, and eat-in kitchen. The second floor has a master wing, with a large bedroom, a dressing room with with all original built-in cabinetry, large original bathroom with pedestal sink and claw-foot tub, and indoor and outdoor porches. These pictures are from the real estate site, so you can just IMAGINE what it will look like once it’s restored and decorated with her taste and lots of Hollywood money.
