Popular Japanese chain Yotteba has released an ad that features a very not-safe-for-workRonald McDonald.
A jacked Ronald is wearing red undies and revealing fries as a massive bush.
Packaging for Yotteba features a logo that (no doubt, purposely) resembles Mickie Dee’s Golden Arches.
But the illustration of Ronald came (unauthorized) from New York-based artist Wizard Skullwho posted yesterday on Instagram,
“Sexy Ronald is going #viral again. Without my knowledge a restaurant in Japan added him to their menu (without permission) and a photo has been going viral, there’s been articles in NYpost, yahoo news, @carrottoplive even dressed up as it, and its trending on reddit, tons of meme accounts are posting, and lots local news stations are doing stories about it. #sexyronald #mcdonalds If you see it posted anywhere please tag me or send me the article since many don’t mention me. Thanks.”
It was first reported by media site Delish as one released by Japan’s McDonald’s.
But other media outlets corrected the misinformation. The New York Post confirmed with a McDonald’s spokesperson that it was NOT related in any way to the company.
Too bad. Made me hungry for McDonald’s fries –and a little bit thirsty.
